The Seeds of Doom (airdates January 29 & February 5, 1984)

Part 1 Intro: [cut off on available copy] ...permafrost of the Antarctic, a rare species of vegetable has been discovered. No, it is not the Jolly Green Giant. And no one-- not the Doctor, or Sarah, or anyone else --will be saying "ho ho ho" when they realize its awful potential. I know not who sowed them, but we are all about to reap "The Seeds of Doom."

Part 1 "Next Week": What would Oliver Hardy have said to Harrison Chase? All together now: (Oliver Hardy voice) "Well, this is another fine mess you've gotten us into." (normal voice) Perhaps the Doctor will be able to get us out of it next week with the help of Sarah, UNIT, and the World Ecology Bureau. After all, even a Time Lord has his limitations. Please return for the denouement of... "The Seeds of Doom," next Sunday night at 11.

Part 2 Intro: Will the Doctor succeedin his effort to de-seed? Or will Harrison Chase supersede, and re-seed? Before I exceed, and you secede, let us proceedwith the conclusion of "The Seeds of Doom."

Part 2 "Next Week": Next week, the Doctor journeys to another exotic locale: Italy, on the planet Earth, during the Renaissance. And during the course of the adventure, the Doctor will make us privy to some of the secrets of the TARDIS and... "The Masque of Mandragora."
