Part 1 Intro: [cut off on available copy] ...permafrost of the Antarctic, a rare species of vegetable has been discovered. No, it is not the Jolly Green Giant. And no one-- not the Doctor, or Sarah, or anyone else --will be saying "ho ho ho" when they realize its awful potential. I know not who sowed them, but we are all about to reap "The Seeds of Doom."
Part 1 "Next Week": What would Oliver Hardy have said to Harrison Chase? All together now: (Oliver Hardy voice) "Well, this is another fine mess you've gotten us into." (normal voice) Perhaps the Doctor will be able to get us out of it next week with the help of Sarah, UNIT, and the World Ecology Bureau. After all, even a Time Lord has his limitations.
