The Creature from the Pit (airdate February 6, 1983)
Intro: Chloris is not a breath mint. It is the planet on which the Doctor, Romana, and K-9 will find their weekly measure of tribulation. But though they are generally awash in a sea of troubles, our protagonist and his friends must possess, through their past accomplishments, a profound sense of satisfaction. That, however, won't be much help tonight, as we shall see, right here on WTTW Chicago.
"Next Week": The Mandrells we have seen on TV in the past have been good-looking, wholesome country singers. The Mandrels we will meet next week are revolting, mud-formed jungle monsters. And they will be only part of the concantenation of danger faced by our semi-intrepid band as they undergo the "Nightmare of Eden."
